ANILOX ROLLER CLEANING SYSTEMS
for printing rollers from ACCUSTRIP. In the new ACCUSTRIP system, Bicarbonate of Soda and water are sprayed together, under pressure, at a roller assembly to be cleaned. Before the Bicarbonate powder has a chance to dissolve, the force of the powder contained in the water jet removes dried ink and paint. The Bicarbonate then dissolves into a harmless liquid which can be passed through a filter down the drain.

DUCT-KEY FREE REMOTE CONTROL INKING SYSTEMS
from
I-MER (Japan). The adjustment of manual or even remotely adjusted duct screws can be time consuming. Duct screws are prone to wear, corrupting any calibration. I-MER remote inking systems
use a series of individual rollers across the print station with a preset constant ductor blade. Ink distribution is digitally controlled as a function of time rather than by variable pressure.
Make ready time has been reduced in several metal printers by 95%.

VISCOSITY CONTROLS from OPTI-COLOR (Germany).
Constant ink viscosity is very important for print and colour quality. Opti-Color units work well with water based and solvent based inks and can interface with press and quality control systems. In
line, rotating body, falling ball and dip sensors are available. Ink pumps and tanks are available options.

UV RADIOMETERS
for accurate and calibrated measurement of UV from EIT Inc. (USA). Integrating radiometers
are available that give power and intensity readings in mW and mJ/cm2. UV ranges that can be selected are UVC (250-260nm), UVB (260-320nm), UVA (320-390nm) and UVV (390-445nm). The UVIMAP plots
data against time. Relative intensity monitors are available that can measure and alert operators to dropoff in UV over time due to ageing.
