Banding Machines
are very different from strapping machines. Paper and thin film materials (which can be printed), typically 30mm wide, are fed around a stack of products, pulled
tight and then heat or ultrasonically sealed. The wide band and choice of materials enables a strong band to firmly hold packs together while not damaging the edges - very important for banknotes,

The Emplex MPS6300 range of bag sealing machines feature full process
control functions for medical packaging applications. Available in table-top, standalone and conveyorised versions, the MPS6300 series utilises pneumatically controlled pressurised heating
and cooling bars for consistent strength wide band seals and minimum rippling of seal area. Sealing parameters are set and maintained by digital temperature, pressure, and tachometer controls on the
front panel and compliance with production protocols is further ensured by audio alarms, an external thermocouple jack and reverse-feed on motors for product rejection.
Designed to increase
production efficiency, the MPS6300 series is equipped with a gas-sprung floor stand for infinite head adjustment and provision for quick routine maintenance.
